2 things that would really make my experience more optimal:
1) Landscape rotation in the Android app. A lot of my use is on my Samsung tablet, and being locked into portrait mode is a PITA and sometimes the neck if I want to use my physical keyboard and have to type looking at it sideways.
2) A post scheduler. For various reasons, sometimes I am not interacting or posting in real time. That birdy platforms, for all its faults, had a basic post scheduler that worked for me.
